1st Art Spoon Global Emerging Artist Competition

This open call is offered as a recurring perk for Art Spoon Pro Plan members. Art Spoon is scouting promising emerging painters and giving them an international spotlight. A total prize pool of US $1,000 is up for grabs, and all winners will be featured across Art Spoon’s social channels (SNS, newsletter, blog) and receive first‑priority invitations to future offline exhibition open calls.

• Submission Period: 2 May 2025 (Mon) – 2 July 2025 (Wen) • Review period: July 3, 2025 (Thu) - July 8, 2025 (Tue) • Result Announcement: 10 July 2025 (Thu)

• 1st Prize: USD 500 • 2nd Prize: USD 200 • 3rd Prize: USD 100 × 3 winners • All winning works will be promoted via Art Spoon’s official social channels (SNS, newsletter, blog) and will receive top‑priority invitations to the next offline exhibition open call.

• Open worldwide, age 15 + • Visual art only: painting, illustration, drawing (digital painting excluded) • Mandatory: publish 5 + artworks on a public Art Spoon website • Optional: complete Art Spoon Playbook missions for bonus consideration

• During the screening period, if the website produced by Artspoon is private, the submitted work will be excluded from the screening. • Winners must send high‑resolution photos of the physical artwork within 7 days for verification before prizes are released. • Prizes are paid via PayPal or bank transfer (fees/taxes deducted as required). • Submitted work must be original; plagiarized or purely AI‑generated pieces may be disqualified. • Entries can be submitted at least 1 point and up to 2 points. • Art Spoon may use winning images solely for award‑announcement purposes. • Exhibition opportunities will be offered to winners first when the next call is announced.
