I explore the boundaries between the microscopic and the macroscopic, the inner and the outer—how these seemingly irreconcilable dimensions constantly touch, collide, and reconfigure one another. What draws me is not their harmonious reconciliation, but the way opposing forces remain in tense suspension while generating new forms of existence. Improvisation lies at the heart of my practice. Each work begins without predetermined form, guided only by the faintest tremors of emotion, momentary impulses, and shifts in inner rhythm. A line or color that originates as a microscopic vibration may gradually expand into a vast, atmospheric field; conversely, an immense spatial sensation can abruptly condense into a tiny focal point. Through this repeated oscillation, I reveal how opposites invade and transform each other. Recurring motifs—circular structures, fragmented forms, cosmic explosions, cells, organisms, mechanical devices—serve as sites where the macro and the micro intermingle. Within the tangled interplay of lines and planes on the surface, incomplete fragments continuously emerge, disintegrate, and reconnect. It is through these dynamic images that I seek to make visible the ceaseless metamorphosis and reconstitution of beings. These processes manifest in the thickness of paint, in swift or languid velocities, in reds and blues whose symbolic weight is crucial. The blue and red families represent opposing energies; their tension and coexistence do not resolve into simple harmony but remain charged. Black brushstrokes, sweeping across the canvas, trace the trajectories of collision and flow, binding the whole. Viewers are thus invited to sense an ongoing rhythm of creation and annihilation, clash and reconciliation. Ultimately, my work asks how we experience the world when the small and the vast, improvisation and order, inside and outside can no longer be separated. By following the current of intuition, I resist settling into equilibrium; instead, I search for a continually shifting, expanding field of sensation that refuses to stand still. Keywords: Energy, Cosmos, Dynamism, Fragment, Vortex <상극의 조화> 나는 미시적 세계와 거시적 세계, 내부와 외부 사이의 경계가 어떻게 흔들리고 교차하는지를 탐구한다. 이 차원들은 양립할 수 없어 보이지만, 사실 끊임없이 맞닿고 충돌하며 서로를 재구성한다. 나는 이러한 조화를 넘어, 서로 다른 힘들이 여전히 긴장된 상태로 새로운 존재성을 만들어내는 모습에 끌린다. 작업에서의 핵심은 즉흥성이다. 작업은 정해진 형태 없이 시작되며, 미세한 감정의 흔들림, 순간적인 충동, 내적인 리듬의 변화를 따라 움직인다. 미시적 진동에서 출발한 선과 색은 점차 확장되어 광대한 장(場)의 감각을 만들기도 하고, 반대로 거대한 공간적 느낌이 한순간에 작은 중심으로 응축되기도 한다. 이러한 진동의 반복은 상극이 어떻게 서로를 침범하고 변형시키는지 드러낸다. 특히 원형적인 구조와 파편화된 형상에 우주적인 폭발, 세포, 생명체, 기계적 장치 등이 반복된다. 이는 거시와 미시가 뒤섞이는 장면을 표현한 것이다. 구체적으로 화면의 선과 면이 뒤엉키는 과정 속에서 불완전한 조각들이 생성되고 파괴되며 다시 이어진다. 그러므로 나는 이러한 역동적인 이미지로 존재들이 변형되고 다시 구성되는 모습을 드러내고자 한다. 이들은 물감의 두께, 빠르거나 느린 속도감, 붉거나 푸른 색감 등으로 표현되고, 특히 색감의 의미가 중요하게 작용한다. 푸른 계열과 붉은 계열은 반대되는 에너지들의 만남을 보여주기 위한 것이며, 그들의 긴장과 공존의 상태는 하나의 조화로움이 된다. 또한 검은 붓질은 이러한 충돌과 흐름을 나타내고, 화면을 가로지르며 전체적인 힘의 궤적을 남긴다. 이로써 관객은 끊임없는 생성과 소멸, 충돌과 화해의 리듬을 느끼게 된다. 궁극적으로 나의 작업은 작은 것과 거대한 것, 즉흥성과 질서, 내부와 외부가 더 이상 나누어지지 않을 때 우리가 세계를 어떻게 느낄 수 있는가를 질문한다. 특히 직관의 흐름을 따르며, 조화를 넘어서 계속 변화하며 확장되는 새로운 감각의 형태를 찾고자 한다. 키워드: 에너지, 우주, 역동성, 파편, 소용돌이
